All tutors are expected to treat clients in their subject on a regular basis to keep their skills current . They are approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. There are no added extras . On site/Corporate Seated Acupressure Massage
Prerequisite: must have a massage qualification e.g. holistic massage, swedish, aromatherapy, IHM, sports etc - please get in touch with us if you’re unsure.
On-site massage (seated acupressure) combines techniques taken from shiatsu (acupressure), Swedish & Advanced massage. The result is a unique massage experience that can be both invigorating and energising and thoroughly relaxing both mentally and physically. You will learn techniques to relax and soothe your client yet refresh them ready for a day at the office.
On Site massage is performed with the client fully clothed using a massage chair – the perfect therapy for corporate work.
On Site is a 2 day course
Further practice will be required in the form of 10 case studies (five single treatments for relaxation and five single treatments for invigoration) plus successful completion of assessment day before receiving certification. A comprehensive On Site course manual covering the contents of the entire weekend will be supplied for future.

Hot Stone Massage
Prerequisite: You must have a minimum Level 3 body massage certificate i.e. swedish, holistic, aromatherapy or sports massage
This is an accredited, level 3 practitioner course and to attend you must have a recognised massage qualification such as Swedish Massage, Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy, Sports etc, if you’re unsure just give us a call or email to clarify.
Hot Stone Massage is a deeply relaxing treatment that effectively releases stress and tension in the body. The heat of the basalt stones encourages the muscles to release quicker than traditional massage and is particularly beneficial for muscular aches and pains, insomnia, back pain, stress, tension and depression. In addition the effectiveness of this wonderful therapy reduces the strain to your hands. There will be an on line element to the training which covers the theory. . Cool stones may also be used for muscular injuries or inflammation.
This will be a long but very enjoyable day during which you will have ample time to practice your new skills. A practitioner’s certificate will be issued upon demonstration of a competent hot stone massage.
Please note: you will not be able to receive treatment on the training day if you are pregnant or have a medical condition that causes peripheral neuropathy (loss of sensation in hands or feet). Please make us aware at the time of booking if this applies to you.
Body Massage
Prerequisite: None
Massage can help clients to de-stress, improve circulation, and reduce pain. Providing a massage treatment can be both beneficial to the client and the therapist and can lead to an incredibly rewarding career. The GTi Body Massage course covers all massage techniques, a full body massage routine and the preparation you need for the treatment plus all the theory that will underpin your knowledge. You will also be taught advanced techniques.
Individual Tuition for Two
Prerequisite: None
The perfect gift! We will come to your home (within 30 miles of Bath) or you may come to our tranquil therapy room in Weston, Bath. Perhaps you suffer from headaches, sore back and neck from sitting at the computer, find it difficult to sleep or relax?
During our three hour tutorial we will teach you and your colleague an easily remembered massage routine, personal to each of you. This is a unique gift that will last forever. You will learn a new skill from an experienced holistic therapy teacher and just in case you forget the odd ‘move’ I will leave each of you with your own manual.

Foot Reflexology
Prerequisite: None
This course covers reading and interpreting the feet as well as performing relaxation and pressure techniques. It also includes the theory and history behind the reflexology treatment. Resources with clear diagrams and images are included to give you the best possible learning experience. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment. The course includes online theory as well as a practical training session at a location of your choice, designed to give you the confidence and ability to offer a full reflexology treatment. Plus all the theory that will underpin your knowledge. You will also be taught advanced techniques .
Aromatherapy for massage therapists
Prerequisite: You must have a minimum Level 3 body massage certificate i.e. swedish, holistic, or sports massage
This course provides you with a great deal of information about different essential oils and carrier oils so that you are qualified to create your own blends of aromatherapy oils. You can incorporate these aromatherapy oil blends in the treatments you currently offer.
The theory is delivered online with clear diagrams and audio. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment. Photographs and diagrams ensure that this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform an aromatherapy massage treatment.
Ear Candling / Thermal Auricular therapy
Prerequisite: None
The GTi Ear Candling course covers how to give a full ear candle treatment and covers the history, technique and aftercare of the treatment. The course also covers reception and consultation, and contra-indications to treatment. It includes online theory as well as a practical training session at a location of your choice, designed to give you the confidence and ability to offer a full ear candle treatment.
Facials
Prerequisite: None
This course covers the technique for performing a superficial and deep cleanse, tone, steam, extract, massage, mask and moisturisation. It also includes fantastic anatomy and physiology resources with clear diagrams and images. Health and safety guidance is covered as well as skin conditions, skin analysis and advice about different skin types as well as guidance as to which type of product is suitable for use.
Warm bamboo massage
Prerequisite: You must have a minimum Level 3 body massage certificate i.e. swedish, holistic, aromatherapy or sports massage
An extremely portable treatment using light weight, beautifully crafted bamboo - a very versatile massage tool that allows you to introduce warmth to the muscles with much less effort than using your hands alone - without compromising effectiveness.
To perform a Warm Bamboo Massage the therapist uses bamboo sticks of varying sizes

Hot stone reflexology
Prerequisite: You must have a minimum Level 3 reflexology certificate
Hot Stone Reflexology builds on your existing knowledge of Reflexology, incorporating heated stones into the treatment. Hot stones can be used to 'open' and 'close' your Reflexology treatment, or as a complete standalone treatment. Large stones are used to warm and massage the feet and legs, whilst small stones work reflex points and more specific areas. Cool stones may also be used for muscular injuries or inflammation such as varicose veins.
An extremely relaxing treatment for both client and therapist, the heat and pressure of the stones work hard to save your fingers and thumbs
